Educational Requirements:
∎ BSc in EEE/Mechanical Engineering/Textile Engineering or MBA in Supply Chain Management
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversight the execution of sourcing and purchasing spare parts & general items from the local or international market.
∎ Complete procurement function to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition with the best quality as per applicable standards.
∎ Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain function, focusing on cost optimization, risk management, and efficient material movement.
∎ Conduct price negotiation and renegotiation with suppliers in favor of the company.
∎ Ensure the availability of materials for smooth production and operational activities.
∎ Strategize the supply chain function to ensure cost optimization, risk management, and material movement.
∎ Organize market surveys to develop alternative suppliers for price competitiveness.
∎ Coordinate and update with merchandising, planning, commercial, accounts & finance, textile, RMG, and others for supply chain activities.
∎ Maintain a comprehensive understanding of letter of credit, import policies, and custom VAT/Tax regulations.
∎ Suggest for system improvement and standardization to ensure transparency and cost-effectiveness for any procurement.
∎ Source, visit, and evaluate potential suppliers locally or abroad.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role in the garments manufacturing industry.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to lead, direct and motivate a diverse team.
∎ Adequate knowledge of letter of credit, import policy and custom VAT/Tax.
∎ Positive attitude required to effectively tackle problems and interface with the other functional areas of the company while working.
∎ Hands-on experience using ERP system, strong in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
