Education:
∎ ● Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, statistics, related field, or equivalent industry experience.
∎ ● Experience with Excel (advanced formulas, Power Query) and cloud storage integrations (SharePoint, Google Sheets).
∎ ● Advanced Knowledge of RDBMS preferably MS SQL server.
∎ ● Advanced Knowledge of Power BI, DAX, Power Query (M language), data modeling and dashboard/report creation.
∎ ● Strong SQL expertise which includes aggregate functions, joins, subqueries, CTEs, and window functions, to analyze and optimize data-driven solutions.
∎ ● Proficiency in Python for data manipulation (pandas) and web scraping (BeautifulSoup).
∎ ● Basic understanding of Metabase.
Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ ● Design, build, and maintain insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI.
∎ ● Write advanced SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting from Oracle and MS SQL Server databases.
∎ ● Perform ETL processes including extracting data from APIs, databases, and web sources, cleaning it, and loading into the data warehouse/dashboards.
∎ ● Develop and maintain Python scripts (with pandas, BeautifulSoup, etc.) for data scraping, automation, and transformation tasks.
∎ ● Manage, monitor, and optimize daily/regular data refresh schedules in platforms like Power BI Service.
∎ ● Maintain and enhance connections to external data sources like Excel, SharePoint, and web-based APIs.
∎ ● Create meaningful visualizations, KPIs, and metrics to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
∎ ● Ensure high standards of data quality, consistency, and security.
∎ ● Document data workflows, dashboards, and analyses to support future scaling and handovers.
