Educational Requirements:

∎ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, with training in Legal or Contract management. Certificate to be provided.
∎ Preferably a background in Civil and Environment or Water/Mechanical/Electrical from any government approved institution.
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Legal,Contract,FIDIC
∎ Skills Required: Accounts, Excellent communication skill, Fluency in English speaking, Good command over MS Office Package

∎ 3 to 5 year(s)

∎ We are looking to recruit a qualified, competent, self-confident, proactive Contract Management Administration Assistant. The selected individual will get a promising opportunity to work on the ongoing project.
∎ Project-based contractual job.
∎ Contract Duration: 12 Months. (maybe extended by the Company, if required)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Drafting contractual response correspondence to the Consultant and Client with the terms of signed business contracts.
∎ Assist in research and preparation of ways forward for submission of Claims as per Contract (FIDIC Experience a plus) to feed into Senior Contract Manager (SCM).
∎ Understand contractual rights for submission and drafting of Variation Orders.
∎ Attend meetings with Consultant and Client to understand contractual issues and report to the Senior Contract Manager (SCM).
∎ Produce claim plans and estimating costs associated with impact Claims may have on Cost and Time. Liaise closely with Planning Department and Finance Department.
∎ Drafting and reviewing standard Contracts for prospective suppliers and subcontractors.
∎ Compiling cost budgets and timescale for claims and/or variation in consultation with Quantity Surveyor, Planning and Finance and reporting directly to the SCM.
∎ Have a working understanding of the Main Contract to feed into all Contractor parties to ensure that everyone understands their roles and responsibilities and ensure the Contractor's contractual rights are defended.
∎ Ensure the Project meets the agreed legal standards.
∎ Liaise with financial staff, sub-contractors, planner (time) to ensure Claims notified are fully compliant with the Main Contract as well as commenting on Claims raised by the subcontractors working for the Contractor.
∎ Assisting with related tasks to ensure all required information has been completed prior to the Project Hand Over.

∎ Age at least 26 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Desired Characteristics for this role:
∎ Strong communication skills in English (Reading Writing and Communication, Advanced Level).
∎ Require a degree of interpersonal skills to be able to discuss information required from all departments.
∎ FIDIC Experience a plus.
∎ Demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve contractual issues and be able to record the issues concisely to defend the Contractors rights as per Contract.
∎ Strong written and verbal communication skills (English is mandatory).
∎ Proficient in MS Office applications.
∎ Strong analytical skills and able to work under pressure.
∎ Able to evaluate multiple highly detailed tasks, determine priorities and organize work for the maximum delivery result.
∎ High level of integrity, initiative, and result oriented.
∎ Able to build effective and long-standing partnerships across with all relevant stakeholders.
∎ Sound knowledge of computer applications.
