Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure the factory complies with all local labor laws (Bangladesh Labor Act), fire safety, building safety, and environmental regulations.
∎ Keep up-to-date with national and international compliance standards (e.g., Accord, Alliance, RSC, ILO conventions).
∎ Maintain documentation for audits and ensure licenses and certifications are up to date.
∎ Prepare for and coordinate third-party audits (e.g., BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, ISO, RSC).
∎ Maintain close relationships with buyers’ compliance teams and audit agencies.
∎ Follow up on CAP (Corrective Action Plan) implementation after audits.
∎ Implement and monitor health & safety policies and ensure a safe working environment.
∎ Coordinate fire drills, first aid training, and emergency preparedness.
∎ Ensure chemical safety, waste management, and environmental sustainability practices.
∎ Ensure workers' rights are protected – freedom of association, no forced or child labor, non-discrimination.
∎ Oversee the functioning of welfare committees, anti-harassment cells, and grievance handling systems.
∎ Promote gender equality, decent working conditions, and minimum wage enforcement.
∎ Maintain accurate records of all compliance-related data, policies, and inspection reports.
∎ Submit regular compliance reports to management and buyers.
∎ Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to compliance.
∎ Organise regular training sessions for workers and staff on compliance topics, such as code of conduct, safety, and labor rights.
∎ Raise awareness on buyer COC (Code of Conduct) and factory policies.
∎ Identify compliance risks and implement mitigation strategies.
∎ Regularly review and improve internal compliance systems and practices.

∎ We are hiring a Compliance Manager For Our Factory with 7–10 years’ experience in RMG. Must have strong knowledge of labour laws, buyer audits, RSC, BSCI/WRAP, and social compliance.
