∎ Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) in (Physiotherapy)
Experience Requirements:
∎ At most 4 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Report to the Physiatrist and receives verbal & written direction and instructions effective sourcing strategies..The clinical Occupational therapist (OT) is responsible for deliver appropriate occupational therapy patient service & duties related to the described service provision.Occupational therapy related task and to ensure all existing policies and procedures are carried out.
∎ Report to: Physiatrist/PM&R physician
∎ supervises: Junior OT
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conducting physical and psychological assessments of clients and following a treatment plan.
∎ Assessing home and work environments of clients and deciding what adjustments are needed.
∎ Advising on adaptive equipment to help clients with daily activities.
∎ Developing rehabilitation programs to help clients regain lost skills.
∎ Preparing clients for a return to work.
∎ Educating caregivers and family members of clients on patient care.
∎ Evaluating results and progress of occupational therapy on clients.
∎ Maintaining professional knowledge and technical progress in order to provide clients with the best treatment program available.
∎ Complying with federal, state, and local certification requirements.
∎ Evaluating patient condition regarding physical and basic mental health
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 34 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ A Bachelor Degree in occupational therapy from a university with updated professional body license/membership.
∎ Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and occupational therapy programs.
∎ Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
∎ Ability to take care of clients with different personalities.
∎ Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
∎ Ability to assess patient condition and work with treatment plans
