Responsibilities & Context:
Provide Clinical Teaching
Teach students practical nursing and clinical skills.
Demonstrate procedures and patient care techniques.
Supervise Students in Clinical Area
Monitor students during hospital or clinical practice.
Ensure safe and ethical patient care.
Evaluate Student Performance
Assess students’ clinical competencies and professional behavior.
Provide feedback and guidance for improvement.
Prepare Clinical Plans
Develop clinical objectives, schedules, and learning activities.
Coordinate clinical assignments for students.
Maintain Discipline and Professionalism
Encourage punctuality, responsibility, and professional ethics.
Ensure students follow hospital rules and nursing standards.
Guide and Support Students
Help students solve clinical problems and reduce anxiety.
Motivate students for effective learning.
Coordinate with Hospital Authorities
Communicate with ward in-charge, nurses, and hospital management.
Maintain good relationships between institution and hospital.
Ensure Patient Safety
Monitor infection control and safety procedures.
Prevent clinical errors by students.
Maintain Records and Reports
Keep attendance, evaluation records, and clinical reports updated.
Submit required documents to the institution.
Participate in Professional Development
Attend workshops, seminars, and training programs.
Update clinical knowledge and teaching methods regularly.
