Educational Requirements:
∎ Preferably passed 8th grade of schooling with relevant experience of cleaning.
∎ Previous experience in a health facility is an advantage
∎ Languages
∎ Fluency in Bangla is required.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Regularly clean outpatient and inpatient service areas and hospital premises
∎ ensure that there is always water available for handwashing and clinical activities as instructed by the Medical Officer in charge of the facility.
∎ Dispose hospital waste materials according to guidelines/instruction at proper place(s); should be very active in maintaining a healthy waste management system.
∎ Help maintain infection prevention and control measures.
∎ Regular cleaning of toilets and patient beds/trolleys including cleaning of stool, urine, blood-mixed clothes and materials, after-delivery waste and other human excreta.
∎ Help nurses and nurse assistants in sterilizing instruments when required.
∎ Help nurses in maintaining a good stock of sterilized gauze, dressing pad, dressing materials and surgical instruments.
∎ Make patient's attendants and other people aware about cleanliness of the hospital.
∎ Assist in crowd control and visitors control in the health premise.
∎ Perform any other duties asked by Supervisors - Medical Officer, Nurse and Nurse Assistants.
Salary:
∎ Monthly gross salary for this position is BDT 10,000.00.
