Job Responsibilities:
∎ Structural Design of Residential, ¬Commercial and Industrial Buildings as per BNBC guidelines.
∎ Detail Engineering Assessment of multi-storied RCC & Steel Building (Residential, Commercial & Industrial) as per NTPA/BNBC/ACI/ASCE guidelines.
∎ Detail Construction Drawing Preparation as per BNBC/RAJUK guideline.
∎ Under-construction and ongoing construction and retrofitting site supervision.
∎ Sourcing tender opportunities from different authorities, especially LGED, PWD, RHD, Bangladesh Railway etc.
∎ Review all papers & relevant documents before tender submission for acquiring a thorough understanding of the rules of tendering.
∎ Preparing bid/tender documentation as per tender requirement including Methodology and Work Plan.
∎ Submitting bid/tender in manual/open tender and E-GP tendering method.
∎ Liaising with all other team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with requirements of procuring entity.
∎ Candidate must have experience in estimation & cost budgeting of all types of Civil Structure such as Roads, Bridges, buildings, land filling, embankment, culvert, drain, boundary wall, earth protection etc.
∎ Candidate must have thorough knowledge of all Govt. Schedule of Rates like PWD, RHD etc.
∎ Candidate should be experienced in rate analysis following all Govt. Schedule of Rates like PWD, RHD etc.
∎ Candidate must have individual capacity to prepare BOQ rates to submit in all Govt. tenders.
∎ Candidate Must have updated knowledge on market rates of construction materials.
∎ Candidate should understand all types of drawings and have experience to make estimate and rate analysis from drawing.
∎ Any other engineering tasks assigned by the top management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Candidate must have IEB membership.
∎ Candidate must have expertise in BOQ, Manual Tender, E-GP etc.
∎ Candidates should have excellent computer skill in Engineering Software like AutoCAD, ETABS, Midas, Staad Pro etc.
∎ Candidates should have excellent computer skill in Office Software Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word etc.
∎ Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility and Punctuality.
∎ Must be flexible with working extended hours following project requirements.
∎ Able to cope with high work pressure & bear work responsibilities smoothly.
∎ Professional behavior, honesty & Integrity is highly expected.
∎ Energetic, hard worker having capability to manage construction site efficiently.
∎ Commitment to continue for at least 2 years.
∎ Candidates who are self-driven & motivated; able to work independently are encouraged to apply.
