Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering
∎ Should have a BSC degree in civil engineering from any reputed private or public universities.
∎ Good Command Over English, Good command over MS Office Package.
∎ Good communication skills, Self-motivated.
∎ Must have good understanding of architectural design and able to execute the project with high accuracy and maintaining industry standard.
∎ The person should have prior experience in working at least 1 residential building construction project as a project in charge or project manager.
∎ The person should have a valid registration number and must be registered as a professional civil engineer under the Engineering institute of Bangladesh.
∎ Skills Required: AutoCAD, Computer skill

∎ 3 to 5 year(s)

Civil Construction, Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering and Architecture, Good Computer Skills
Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a highly experienced Civil engineer to work on 2 individual residential building construction Projects Outside of Dhaka. From the beginning of the construction process, he is supposed to work and complete it with total sincerity and dedication. In short the person will be the in charge of the project and handle the entire work process as a project manager. He must be able to identify and execute the followings given below:
∎ Construction costs
∎ Time constraints
∎ Environmental regulations
∎ Infrastructure lifespan
∎ Entire project execution.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee overall management and supervision of constructions works in the projects.
∎ Prepare building plan & detailed estimation for housing / building construction.
∎ Make all types of architectural, structural, sanitary, plumbing and electrical drawing (sketch and layouts).
∎ Prepare Bill of Quantity (BOQ), Technical files and keep/preserve office documents in an organized way.
∎ Review the project in details by making bar-chart, schedule deliverables, materials & costs estimation.
∎ Coordinate directly with construction workers and deal with subcontractor’s consultant and client.
∎ Review the work progress on a daily & weekly basis.
∎ Ensure compliance of office order and safety regulations.
∎ Report project status and Prepare progress report & interim/revised project schedule.
∎ Coordinate with the supply team /suppliers to ensure timely supply of materials.
∎ Recommend/suggest for necessary update/adaptation in construction policy.
∎ Take action to solve all site related issues coordinating with appropriate authority.
∎ Make sure all construction works are done incompliance with approved drawing, design & specification.
∎ Make sure incorporating all kinds of utility facilities of a modern industrial building including fire hydrant system/fire detection and protection system, health & hygiene facility and also maintaining a high level of structural integrity adopting national and international building codes and safety standards.
∎ Maintain time & workmanship to complete any construction work by schedule time.
∎ Explore and implement new technologies that yield cost effective outputs.
∎ Carry-out other tasks as assigned by the management.
