Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct regular inspections of civil structures to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
∎ Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules for buildings, roads, bridges, and other infrastructure.
∎ Coordinate and supervise repair and maintenance activities, ensuring quality and efficiency.
∎ Prepare detailed reports on the condition of structures and the progress of maintenance work.
∎ Collaborate with other engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to plan and execute maintenance projects.
∎ Ensure all maintenance work is performed in accordance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
∎ Manage budgets and resources for maintenance projects.
∎ Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with civil infrastructure maintenance.
∎ Respond to emergency maintenance requests and manage urgent repairs.
∎ Keep up-to-date with industry best practices, new technologies, and advancements in civil engineering.
