Responsibilities & Context: The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for the overall Operational and Programme departmens of PFDA-VTC and its affiliated organs Angel Chef and Angel Eco Paper. S/he will provide technical and managerial guidance to overall Operation, staffing and staff management, procurement and logistics, budgeting, financial management, planning for cost recovery, overseeing production, supervision, monitoring and all-over operational related works of PFDA-VTC, Angel Chef and Angel Eco Paper. Additionally, the position will also be responsible for marketing and sales promotion of all PFDA-VTC, Angel Chef & Angel Eco products.
Responsibilities:
Proposal writing, fundraising and Donor Management:
- Proposal writing including budget.
- Fundraising activities such as communication, concept notes, presentations etc.
- Regular communication maintained with existing donors.
- Advocacy with GoB stakeholders.
- Regular communication with Aamra regarding the website development and learning portal.
General Management:
- Manage and operate the entire Operational & Programme team of “PFDA-VTC”, “Angel Chef” and “Angel Eco Paper”
- Coordinates and supervises all Operational & Programme staff, part-time and support staff, interns and volunteers.
- Monitor and Evaluate Performance of Staffs, recruitment process, training, employee relations, salary etc)
- Guide and Support Program Development
- Provide any legal procedure support
- Provide regular reports to the board of members on organizational performance, financial status,
- Ensure transparency and accountability in all organizational activities.
- Quarterly, Six-monthly & Annual report as required report with donors.
- Ensure documentation of 100% Performance Appraisal Report (PAR) at any period of time ensuring accurate staffing and reporting;
- Ensure submission of admin and financial reports with accuracy on weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly, yearly or as and when necessary, as required by the management in due time.
- Support in contacting with donors, explore and obtain financial support for operation of PFDA-VTC, Angel Chef and Angel Eco Paper.
- Attend staff meetings, support events and other duties related to the organization.
Administrative Management:
- Prepare periodic plan of action focusing on priority of the organization. Collaborating with senior management to develop long-term strategies for improving efficiency, growing the business, and achieving organizational goals.
- Daily Operations Monitoring (regular administrative work, transport, store management).
- Attend visitors, join meetings, workshops, seminars and uphold organization.
- Ensure production processes and oversee the production activities of Angel Chef and Angel Eco Paper to maintain high standards.
- Coordination between the operational & programme teams of PFDA-VTC, Angel Chef, and Angel Eco Paper.
- Ensuring operations comply and maintaining a safe working environment for employees and support for problem-solving
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by the management.
Human Resource Management:
- Organize and lead the recruitment process of “PFDA-VTC”, “Angel Chef” and “Angel Eco Paper”, strictly adhering to the SOP and administrative guidelines issued so far.
- Provide support to the office in Human Resource Development.
Procurement & Storage Management:
- Ensure all procedures set out by the office are strictly adhered to in the procurement process and oversee procurement process and logistics management are conducted with transparency and accountability.
- Set down procedures for efficient and effective asset management.
Accounts & Finance Management:
- Provide technical guidance to the Finance & Accounts (F&A) team in financial analysis, reporting and related activities.
- Monitor Student Revenue.
- Budget, Chat of Accounts.
- Monitoring and supportive supervision of Financial Compliance.
Supervisory Responsibility:
S/he will supervise and mentor the following positions:
- Operation Manager &
- Principal.
Working Conditions:
Full-time position based at PFDA-VTC.
May require occasional travel to satellite locations or for training purposes.
