Job Responsibilities:
∎ Establish the Organization in Bangladesh smoothly & effectively & ensure all regulatory & statutory compliances are observed.
∎ Drive the Organization to enhance business processes to global standards & attain sustained growth in market share & profitability.
∎ Build, develop & groom a strong contributing effective team.
∎ Satisfy Shareholders’ / Board of Directors’ expectation.
∎ Explore & drive new business opportunities.
∎ Network well in the industry & be well-clued with all related developments - political, industry-related, infrastructure, etc.
∎ Simultaneously lead the team for deeper market penetration and market share as well as explore growth opportunities, both organic and inorganic.
∎ Monitor, oversee, guide & manage the local offices.
∎ Explore new business opportunities as well as develop the Organisation’s bottom lines, cash flow processes & talent sourcing & development .
∎ Plan and carryout the appropriate steps/measures to ensure achievement and maximization of business targets- volume, revenue, profit, etc.
∎ Create a healthy organizational climate and culture, lead and manage the team so that overall agency performance is maximized.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 55 to 60 years
∎ A dynamic, hands-on, energetic & proactive professional with over 30 years of Container Liner Shipping experience out of which 20+ years would have been in senior management/board-level positions
∎ Candidate should preferably have international multi-geographic & multi-cultural exposure & clear vision for future
∎ Candidate must have a professional qualification in Finance / Management from leading institutions in Bangladesh / overseas
∎ The ideal candidate would have proven demonstration of leadership abilities in team development, business & profitable growth & expansion
∎ The candidate must have excellent communication skills & networking abilities
∎ Very good Shipping Knowledge - both commercial and operational.
∎ Excellent Knowledge of the local shipping market: customers, competitors, shipping regulations/laws, etc.
∎ Ability to think strategically and to provide strategic leadership.
∎ Very good networking, communication, analytical, and logical skills.
∎ A dynamic go-getter with a very good command of written and spoken English.
∎ Have a well-organized, analytical, and structured business approach.
∎ Excellent leadership quality.
