Job Context:
∎ The company is one of the earliest member of REHAB in Bangladesh for quality in service, design and construction of buildings. Over the years, we have expanded our operations from Dhaka to Chattogram. The private limited company operates in the field of property development & construction sector, having build commercial, residential projects & developing projects for the Bangladesh government. The group also operates one of the largest fleet of vessels within the country & consist of companies that may provide end to end logistical support. The company is also part of a group of companies which also manufactures & trades building materials such as stone, cement, steel, & plastic products. The founder and Managing Director of the company is a 3rd Parliamentary Member of the Republic of Bangladesh government.
∎ As a Chief Architect, He will be responsible for all architectural design & Drawing as well as he will have to play the role of Head of real estate including project supervision, Profit & Loss responsibility and the freedom & resources to plan, organize and drive the growth of the company.
∎ We are seeking an experienced and innovative Architect with exceptional business management skills, significant leadership experience and a passion for turning around things for growth.
∎ In this executive management position you will have a direct report team across various divisions employing more than 200 staff in Operations, Finance, Marketing, HR, Training, Recruitment, Auditing, Business development, Supply Chain, Logistics, IT, Production, Administration, Support Services, Graphics, Real Estate, Projects and System Development Departments.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for overall timely implementation of Projects, maintaining the quality, workmanship and within the approved budget
∎ Prepare Architectural plan, elevation, and detail drawings on the basis of present RAJUK rule, understand engineering drawings related to work, particularly architectural, structural drawings Interior and other associated drawings.
∎ Capabilities of following up new projects from planning, drawing, material selection and working with other engineers.
∎ Provide information to management about suitable land and make profitable feasibility, To make sure of details measurement as per the requirement of principal Architect.
∎ Sound knowledge in modern Architecture, Exterior Design, Interior Design, updated information about materials as well as estimation.
∎ Supervision of construction as per design and drawing like Architectural, Structural, Plumbing and Electrical system of projects.
∎ Adapting plans according to circumstances and resolving any problems that may arise during construction
∎ Coordinate with other departments like Engineering & procurement as required to complete the work at the site as per schedule, Supervise ongoing work periodically.
∎ Check slab layouts before casting and other layouts as & when required. Coordinate with clients and Land Owner regarding design related issues.
∎ Assist Design & Development and other departments as assigned by management.
∎ Taking decision which is profitable for the organization, Make proper projects schedule and accurately maintain projects completion time.
∎ Collecting tender information, tender control sheet follow up and bidding to various government/non-government organizations for construction projects.
∎ Maintain liaison with various Government, semi Government, Autonomous bodies for various approval of construction works and infrastructure project.
∎ Interiors & Exteriors related finishing & construction working.
∎ Complete of all the documentation required for the project.
∎ Resolving the issue related to project implementation with prior approval from management whenever applicable.
∎ Well conversant with MS Office applications, AutoCAD, Estimation Software etc.
∎ Prepare project budget in details and allocate the resources accordingly considering expenses to ensure the desired profit.
∎ Any other task assigned by the Management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Should be member of IAB must have RAJUK enlistment.
∎ Applicable military experience or other related operations experience will be considered including in residential, commercial, govt infrastructure projects, power plants, multi-family, hotels, hospitals, facilities, etc.
∎ Ability to manage and control adverse situations with sophisticated landlords.
∎ Experience with computerised building management systems, preventative maintenance and work order systems.
∎ Experience with the opening, staffing and commissioning of newly acquired buildings.
∎ Experience with the operating and maintenance of older buildings and systems.
∎ Project management experience related to the upgrading and/or replacement of major Building systems and construction improvements.
∎ Capable of preparing Details Measurement, Working Drawing, Interior Designing & Detailing of Layout plans, Sections, Elevations, Drafting, 2D preparation, 3D visualization as per requirements of the Project.
∎ Prepare BOQ & Specification as per design-drawing.
∎ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
∎ Will be required to perform off site duties through the use of a company vehicle.
∎ Must have a valid driver's license.

Salary:
∎ Negotiable
∎ Depending on length of experience, field of expertise, industry exposure, market value of skill sets acquired, company may offer higher compensation package than indicated above to acquire candidate`s services for full-time employment.
