Job Context:
∎ Confidence Cement Dhaka Ltd is looking for a Executive - Chemist for Quality Assurance department.
∎ Cement Plant Location: Danga, Polash, Norshindi.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Participate and ensure all tests and analysis of cement and concrete for controlling Quality in process and for final product and construction project.
∎ Communicate with Engineer to maintain quality of cement/concrete on the basis of test results.
∎ Perform slump test, concrete Cylinder strength test.
∎ Setting time test, send FM test, Sand & stone Specific Gravity test etc.
∎ Ensure sample collection as per QCP
∎ Monitor hourly cement sample from VRM
∎ Full chemical analysis of Raw Materials
∎ Complete chemical analysis of VRM and dispatch products
∎ Monitoring dispatch sample collection
∎ Calibrate lab equipment in timely manner
∎ In-house calibration of all lab equipment as if: Analytical Electronic Balance, PH Meter, Oven, Furnace
∎ Monitor the fineness tester and sampler
∎ Check the fineness tester whether they perform job correctly or not (by following SOP/WI)
∎ Provide the input in daily and consolidated - weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports of quality test results and findings for each of the products (if any)
∎ Update all testing report in the designated template regularly
∎ Supervise other lab. staffs and officer to maintain quality control activities are as QA plan.
∎ Ensure cleanliness for all instrument used in laboratory and laboratory areas.
∎ Any job can be assigned by HOD.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years’ experience as Chemist, Quality Assurance / VRM / Chemical & Concrete test
∎ Good leadership, execution and teamwork skills with challenges encountering ability.
∎ Good command on office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook etc.).
∎ Good interpersonal, communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
