Education:

Additional Requirements:

  • Preference will be given to candidates having overseas work experience, particularly in the Middle East.

  • Must be competent in a National Skills Certificate (NSC) in any mechanical trade.

  • Sound knowledge of competency-based training, assessment, and practices.

  • Physically and mentally fit to perform training and field-related responsibilities.

  • Strong communication, leadership, and classroom & assessment management skills.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Lead and manage all operational, technical, and administrative activities of the Welding Section.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor training schedules in accordance with industry standards and organizational requirements.

  • Supervise instructors, workshop personnel, and support staff to ensure effective training delivery.

  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), Quality Management System (QMS), and workshop regulations.

  • Monitor workshop utilization, machine maintenance, welding consumables, and inventory control.

  • Coordinate internal and external assessments, trade tests, and certification activities.

  • Maintain training documentation, operational reports, attendance records, and performance evaluations.

  • Liaise with management, clients, auditors, and regulatory authorities regarding welding operations.

  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance training quality and workshop performance.

  • Ensure compliance with AWS, ASME, API, ISO, and other applicable international standards where required.
