Requirements:

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Technician interventional Cardiology shall the assist the consultants in conducting wide range of invasive cardiac tests, under direct supervision, for diagnostic and therapeutics purposes.
∎ The Cardiac Cath Lab Technician Prepares Cardiac Catheterization lab.
∎ Assists during procedures.
∎ Operates X-ray equipment & monitoring equipment.
∎ To maintain Cath Lab schedule.
∎ Patient preparation pre-procedure is assisted with as needed
∎ Procedure/supply setup is consistently and appropriately performed.
∎ Procedure equipment is prepared and calibrated as needed.
∎ Supplies are received and stocked appropriately.
∎ Supplies are assessed, reordered and par levels are consistently maintained.
∎ Records of TLD badges and Lead aprons are maintained.
∎ Manages and organizes roster to maintain 24 hour coverage for the cardiology on call consultant.
