∎ Diploma in Medical Technology

Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 4 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Cardiac Cath Lab Technician Prepares Cardiac Catheterization lab
∎ Assists during procedures,
∎ Operates X-ray equipment & monitoring equipment.
∎ To maintain Cathlab schedule.
∎ Patient preparation pre-procedure is assisted with as needed
∎ Procedure/supply setup is consistently and appropriately performed.
∎ Procedure equipment is prepared and calibrated as needed.
∎ Supplies are received and stocked appropriately.
∎ Supplies are assessed, reordered and par levels are consistently maintained
∎ Records of TLD badges and Lead aprons are maintained
∎ Manages and organizes roster to maintain 24 hr coverage for the cardiology on call consultant

Additional Requirements:
∎ Proper knowledge and idea of how to conduct the tests.
∎ Able to generate the graphic reports.
∎ Demonstrates knowledge of techniques, skills, equipment, procedures and materials
∎ Applies knowledge to identify issues and internal problems; works to develop additional technical knowledge and skills

Salary:
∎ Negotiable
