Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
∎ A MS or BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Engineering and design of mechanical systems for manufacturing company
∎ 3D modeling of components and designs
∎ Analysis and material selection of designed components
∎ Designs targeting highly constrained size, weight, and power environments
∎ Attend and present design reviews
∎ Transition from sketches to 3D models to rapid prototyping to production tooling
∎ Facilitate rapid creation of initial parts, learn in-house processes
∎ Using the API (Application Programmable Interface) of CAD systems in order to create macros or even develop software applications
∎ Work closely with other engineers, technicians, manufacturers, and suppliers supporting current designs
∎ Develop manufacturing procedures for designed components
∎ Some travel may be required
∎ Use industry standards for drawings and drawing control systems
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 22 to 32 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Practical experience in Mechanical Systems, Materials, Components
∎ Experience with various CAD Tools of DS Solidworks, AutoDesk, Siemens NX etc
∎ Experience with MATLAB and Simulink based modeling
∎ Programming knowledge in Python, C# etc
∎ Hands on design experience
∎ Strong interpersonal skills in a multidisciplinary environment
∎ Mechanical repair skills, including composites construction and fabrication
∎ Electrical repair skills, including soldering and familiarity with a multimeter
∎ Able to maintain a security clearance
∎ Quick learner to work with any prescribed CAD tools
Salary: Negotiable
