Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Market Research: Conduct in-depth research on the Russian and US arms manufacturing industries to identify potential partners and understand their products and services.
∎ Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, government officials, and other key stakeholders in the defense industry.
∎ Business Development: Develop and execute business development strategies to attract new clients and increase sales through tenders of DGDP.
∎ Negotiations: Negotiate contracts and terms with manufacturers and buyers to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
∎ Sales: Promote DSSBD's services and facilitate the sale of products to Military from our partner manufacturers.
∎ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
∎ Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in the defense or security industry.
∎ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
∎ Strong understanding of the defense and security market in Bangladesh.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Fluency in English and Russian or English and American.
∎ Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
∎ As a Business Development Officer at DSSBD, you will play a crucial role in expanding our network of manufacturers and buyers, particularly in the Russian and US arms manufacturing sectors. Your responsibilities will include:
