Qualifications & Requirements

1. Self-motivated, dynamic, honest, and capable of working independently with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

2. Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

3. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the installation, testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of Fire Fighting, Fire Protection, and Fire Detection Systems in commercial, industrial, or high-rise building projects.

4. Proven experience in supervising electromechanical installation activities and ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, and safety standards.

5. Strong technical knowledge of:

   • Fire Hydrant Systems

   • Sprinkler Systems

   • Fire Pump Systems

   • Hose Reel Systems

   • Clean Agent Suppression Systems

   • Fire Alarm & Detection Systems

   • Smoke Management and Ventilation Systems

   • Emergency Lighting and Fire Safety Equipment

6. Ability to review and interpret engineering drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and technical specifications.

7. In-depth knowledge of fire protection design principles, installation practices, testing procedures, and preventive maintenance requirements.

8. Familiarity with applicable codes, standards, and regulations, including:

   • BNBC (Bangladesh National Building Code)

   • NFPA (National Fire Protection Association Standards)

   • NEC (National Electrical Code)

   • Relevant local authority and fire service requirements

9. Experience in testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and preparing inspection reports for fire protection and detection systems.

10. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and engineering software such as AutoCAD.

11. Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills with the ability to work effectively with consultants, contractors, clients, and project teams.

12. Knowledge of workplace health, safety, and environmental requirements related to fire protection systems.

13. Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines while maintaining quality and safety standards.
