Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Planning and conducting controlled experiments to investigate biological processes.
∎ Interpreting experimental results using statistical methods and other analytical techniques to draw meaningful conclusions.
∎ Accurately receive, label, and analyze various samples, including blood and tissue.
∎ Operating specialized laboratory equipment, including microscopes, centrifuges, and automated analyzers.
∎ Properly organize and store all chemicals, fluids, and compressed gases in compliance with safety guidelines.
∎ Ensuring that laboratory equipment is calibrated and functioning properly and verifying the quality and expiration dates of chemicals and reagents.
∎ Adhering to strict procedures and quality control measures to ensure accurate results and Analyzing data to identify abnormalities or trends.
∎ Conduct laboratory tests following standard procedures, document observations, and interpret the results.
∎ Accurately record all data and results in the required forms, both on paper and electronically.
∎ Strictly adhere to all safety protocols at all times and keep the laboratory environment clean and organized.
