Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Architecture
∎ B.Sc. in Engineering
∎ Completion of a professional degree in Architecture or a related field
∎ Depending on experience, educational qualifications could be flexible
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Expert knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) and technology and how to logically set out and coordinate the services.
∎ Experienced Revit user and able to produce highly detailed models including:
∎ Model setup and management.
∎ Expert knowledge of Revit systems and a fully connected model.
∎ Manage views, sheets, schedules and drawing lists.
∎ Enforcing BIM Standards (internal and project/client standards).
∎ Responsible for Model Deliverables and Presentation.
∎ Assist designers and consultants with model coordination and highlighting clashes.
∎ Family creation and content management.
∎ Experienced AutoCAD user with a good background in producing architectural and engineering CAD drawings would be an asset.
∎ Knowledge of BIM360/Autodesk Construction Cloud and how to publish, share and consume models & set up projects.
∎ Good experience with Navisworks Manage including:
∎ Creating federated models.
∎ Clash detection and leading coordination meetings.
∎ Excellent ability to read and understand design mark-up drawings & the design intent.
∎ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify cross-discipline coordination issues.
∎ Recognizing potential issues or red flags on projects & proactively seeking out solutions, working with the project manager and design team to resolve them.
∎ Show an interest in the development of BIM in our industry and the standards set to meet the latest requirements.
∎ Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, is the key for this role.
Additional Requirements:
∎ ? 5-7 years of experience in the Architect/Engineer/Construction (AEC) industry
∎ A high level of proficiency and expertise in the following productivity tools is required and expected:
∎ Autodesk Revit
∎ Autodesk AutoCAD
∎ BIM360/Construction Cloud
∎ Bluebeam
∎ Navisworks
∎ MS Office Suite including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
∎ Adobe Cloud/Photoshop
