Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Graduate in Mechanical/Electrical. Master degree is preferred
Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Monitor and inspect the operation and performance of the BOP area including but not limited to river water intake operation, river water intake pumps operation, water pretreatment & demineralization plant operation, waste water treatment system, sewage treatment system operation, cooling tower operation, CCW & ACW system operation, plant air compressor operation, electrical SWGR operation etc.
∎ Perform chemical delivery off loads and tank/product inventory.
∎ Read, interpret, and adjust meters and gauges to make sure the plant equipment is operating properly.
∎ Take appropriate action when necessary to ensure compliance of safety, efficiency, environmental and administrative guidelines.
∎ Conduct regular inspections of the BOP system to identify any issues or areas of concern.
∎ Identify potential areas for improvement in the BOP system and develop solutions to address them.
∎ Identify problems with plant equipment and clearly communicate the conditions associated with these problems to the maintenance team.
∎ Issue job orders to maintenance team for faulty equipment, predictive, preventive and breakdown maintenance or modifications for necessary actions.
∎ Identify defect and Carry out LOTO, isolations and normalization of BOP equipment.
∎ Cooperate with other operation engineers, performance engineer, chemists and operation technicians to meet most safe, reliable and efficient operation of the plant.
∎ Assist in the update of drawings and prints as changes are made.
∎ Follow all kind of company regulations and rules including EHS.
∎ Proactively participate in and contribute to the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO45001:2018 programs.
∎ Perform other tasks as instructed by O&M Preparation Manager.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Experience in Power Plant Operation
∎ Understanding on technology of Combined Cycle Power Plant (such as GE F-class GT machines)
∎ Must have good problem solving and analytical skills necessary to determine current / future operating conditions and trends for optimizing plant performance
∎ Awareness of importance of HSE compliance
∎ Good English writing skill for preparing manuals, procedures and reports
∎ Ability to work independently & under pressure, especially during emergency conditions, using special safety equipment and procedures.
∎ A hands-on background in water treatment equipment, high-pressure boilers, cooling water systems, Electrical systems equipment operation.
