∎ The Position: We are looking for a Bakery Inventory Support to be responsible for the handling of goods, products and supplies that come through North End`s bakery`s stockrooms and storage locations. The employee is responsible for receiving and storing the Bakery`s supply shipments in the stockroom and accurately issuing them in an efficient and timely manner.
∎ The Location: North End Coffee Roasters is based in Shahjadpur, Dhaka on Pragati Sharani.
∎ Reports to: Bakery Issuing and Receiving Officer
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assumes responsibility for taking periodic stock-take of materials and supplies;
∎ Signs, maintains and documents records appropriately attesting to the inspection, receipt, issuance and remaining balances of stock;
∎ Recommends the replenishment of stocks based on established minimum quantities and, when necessary, the modification of storeroom procedures and regulations;
∎ Ensures that all shipments are received in good, undamaged condition;
∎ Supervises and assists with loading and unloading of goods when necessary;
∎ Assists in opening, unpacking and examining incoming shipments;
∎ Labels incoming orders with identifying number, quantity and description when necessary;
∎ Compares identifying information and counts items of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of landing, packing slips, delivery challans, invoices, orders, or other records and initials completed paperwork;
∎ When applicable, picks Bakery's inventory orders from stock and routes items to the Bakery production floor;
∎ Confirms that orders contain the correct items/supplies numbers and quantity of items/supplies to match the transfer documentation;
∎ Uses computer system to track, locate, and pull correct items/supplies;
∎ Rejects and takes appropriate action for any inconsistency between purchase orders and shipments received;
∎ Rejects damaged items and shortages, and contacts suppliers in reference to rejected items requesting due action;
∎ When necessary, arranges for the pick-up of materials and supplies from vendor locations;
∎ Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins in predetermined locations;
∎ Sorts orders as necessary for correct priority;
∎ Keeps area neat and in order;
∎ Performs other related work as required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Warehouse or inventory experience is desirable but not mandatory
∎ Attention to detail to ensure accuracy
∎ Basic experience with Microsoft Office Suite products will give you an advantage. e.g. Word and Excel
∎ Ability to read and write and type in basic English will also give you an advantage

∎ This post falls within North End`s pay grade B starting from BDT18,250. In addition to this:
