Job Context:
∎ Currently Bangladesh Red Crescent Society is looking for a suitable Bangladeshi national for the following position
∎ Duration of contract : Up to 31.12.2023 (Possibility of extension)
∎ Organizational Unit/Department : MCHC, PMO, BDRCS
∎ Service status : PMO, BDRCS
∎ Reporting line : MCHC Manager
∎ Duty station : Teknaf, Cox`s Bazar
∎ Purpose : The purpose of Aya is to ensure cleanliness of the MCHC facility and provide patient support as required

Job Responsibilities:
∎ She will assist to provide triage, support in delivery room and patient word etc. and follow IPC procedure.
∎ Mopping, washing, and sweeping the floors, toilets, sinks, bathtubs, counters, and garage entryways.
∎ Dusting the surfaces such as window ledges and furniture.
∎ Cleaning every surface in the kitchen, bathroom, and showers.
∎ Sanitizing and scrubbing knobs, and sinks etc.
∎ Shining the mirrors, cleaning the windows, and polishing chrome surfaces.
∎ Making patients beds.
∎ Ensure laundry management while upholding relevant IPC standards.
∎ Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
∎ Duties applicable to all staff
∎ 1. Actively work towards the achievement of MCHC objectives
∎ 2. Abide by and work in accordance with Red Cross and Red Crescent principles and code of conduct
∎ 3. Perform any other work assigned by line manager

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age Limit : 40 years (may be relaxed in case of outstanding candidates)
∎ Experience : 2 year of experience providing triage, supporting in delivery room and patient care etc..
∎ Language : Ability to speak, write and understand Chittagonian language
∎ Other requirements : Able to work in a multi-culture environment
∎ Able to work during odd hours, capacity to take pressure, teamwork, self-motivated, organized, hardworking, and flexible regarding work hour

Salary: Tk. 18000 (Monthly)
