Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Automobile, Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Mechanical Engineering
∎ Education qualification may be relaxed for highly exceptional/experienced candidate.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 15 to 20 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall responsibility for Production Planning, Development, Expansion, Assembling, Rebuilt and Manufacturing in automotive factory.
∎ Plan, organize all activities and operations of the production department and controlling overall production as per targets.
∎ Supervise mechanical erection, commissioning and maintenance jobs of the factory.
∎ Plan and manage projects implementation, and prepare the project material cost and timing estimates, and production line designing specifications for machinery and systems.
∎ Supervise all technicians and other production engineers as per the given tasks.
∎ New plant installation and setup of vehicle assembly/body building as per requirement/demand.
∎ Developing and implementing innovative strategies to streamline factory operations.
∎ Collaborating with quality control managers/production managers/floor engineer to establish quality control processes.
∎ Regularly inspecting finished products to determine whether they meet established quality standards.
∎ Keep a watch on the competition in the market and should also look in to bringing in new & innovative technology in the vehicle and manufacturing process.
∎ Work closely with the R&D team of the company regarding improving the products.
∎ Work with the Senior Management and other experts and anticipate demands for their products.
∎ Contact and negotiate with suppliers to procure different machinery & tools as per specifications, and present engineering reports and findings.
∎ Implementing 5s, KAIZEN and safety rules, etc.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 60 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Proven experience in a managerial or supervisor role in a factory independently.
∎ Certification in Production and Inventory Management as well as Quality Control.
∎ Sound knowledge of industry-specific factory equipment.
∎ Good knowledge on Production Planning / Product development and Factory operations.
∎ Knowledge on spare parts (automotive) and its proper usage & application
∎ Flow of materials for Product Development.
∎ Design / drawing with all technical related work.
∎ Supply Chain Management.
