Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. Engineer (Marine Academy/Marine Fishers Academy/Any Recognized Institution)
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 12 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Responsible for the engineering dept. of a company/SBU. Producing vessels maintenance reports and developing strategies based on vessels research. Guiding management in making sound business decisions in the long and short term.
∎ Job Location: CPA Complex, Sadarghat, Chattogram.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Managing each and individual vessels.
∎ Looking after all Engineering task (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Refrigeration, Mechanical & Electro Hydraulic).
∎ Planning for any technical issue or modifications onboard.
∎ Navigation & Electro Navigating Equipment related task maintenance & Installation.
∎ Keep all vessel up to date and ready for voyage.
∎ Preparing Maintenance Report.
∎ Manpower planning and arrangement (Technical personnel).
∎ Supervising large work of vessel (Other workshop) as per requirement.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 12+ years of experience in leading engineering relevant activities.
∎ Business Acumen-Knowledge of the methodologies, processes and systems allowing the vessel to catch fish and make company profitable.
∎ Integrity and Ethical standards - A strong will which ensures that one is always doing the right thing by upholding the ethical and professional standards and is honest in all transactions with the company and the stakeholders.
∎ Operation Role - Vessel Management Analytics, Voyage Planning, Vessels Inventory Management.
∎ Catalyst Role - Leadership and Influence, Team Management, Relationship building and collaboration.
∎ Change management and flexibility.
