Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. in EEE (preferrable)
∎ Bachelors of Science/ Commerce's/BBA/MBA
∎ A professional degree in Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage
∎ Skills Required: Export & Import, price negotiation, Purchase Procurement, SCM, Supply Chain, tender documentation, Tender Processing
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Commercial export import, Export/ Import through L/C, logistic management, Procurement
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Electric Wire/Cable
Job Context:
∎ An Emerging Electronics Manufacturing Company looking for an Asst. Manager/ Sr. Executive-SCM.
∎ This company is the largest line hardware and line connector manufacturer in Bangladesh.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Getting in contact with all the suppliers from different countries.
∎ Conduct market survey to identify potential suppliers based on quality, cost and reliability. Establish professional relationships vendors and suppliers.
∎ Perform L/C opening related jobs, amendment/correction, monitoring, shipment, documents retirement formalities and follow up of import L/C.
∎ Collect price quotation and negotiate with suppliers and agents for procurement and assess the specification with the user's requirement for further processing.
∎ Follow up with vendors till delivery of products and take corrective actions if any discrepancies are found while receiving/checking the products.
∎ Collect invoices from suppliers/Vendors and check the invoices properly.
∎ Development of new products for the company to participate in the tenders related to those items.
∎ Searching for vendors and suppliers for different products.
∎ Checking all the samples of the items sent by the suppliers before participating in the tenders.
∎ Ensuring all the technical data, test reports and samples before the tender participation.
∎ Ensuring the PSI, PLI and delivery of the products on time.
∎ Compiling all the information related to different vendors and suppliers and their products.
∎ Arranging meetings between the suppliers and the management authorities if needed.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Females are encouraged to apply.
∎ Sound Knowledge on ppr 2008.
∎ Auto Cad 2D.
∎ Good Knowledge on Government Tender/ e-GP especially BREB, DESCO, PDB, NESCO , DPDC.
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skill both in Bangla and English.
∎ Must have literacy in computer operation (Especially in MS Office and Various Software).
∎ Must be dynamic, energetic, self-motivated and self-organized with a positive attitude.
Salary: Negotiable
