∎ B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from any Public University
Experience Requirements:
∎ 7 to 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Operation & Maintenance, steel industry
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintenance works on Machinery, Hydraulic system, Pneumatic system, Lubrication system, pumps, compressors, EOT cranes etc.
∎ Planning and implementing daily work & manpower allocation.
∎ Ensure the routine maintenance of all the machine parts of the overall plant
∎ Develop a planed Preventive Maintenance schedule, ensure full preventive maintenance is carried out, plan in missed maintenance activities and lead the subordinate to deliver effectively.
∎ At regular intervals, inspect the working condition of equipment, engineering systems and ensure that all standards are maintained.
∎ Manage breakdown percentage and process delay percentage to ensure not exceeds the defined standard levels.
∎ Keep HOD informed of all the activities and incidence of the Department.
∎ Records on individual machineries history to keep updating.
∎ Maintain the inventory of spare parts. Identify & updating all kind of spares parts & maintains minimum level of stock for smooth operation.
∎ Foreign spare management works in guidance of Head of Department.
∎ Coordinate with purchase & local supplier for quality spare parts.
∎ Research & development work for minimize the overall costing
∎ Develops, recommends & implements measures to improve maintenance methods, equipment performance and quality of product.
∎ Monitor safety issues of technician & ensure safe working environment.
∎ Identify occupational health and safety hazard, assessing risks of the identified hazards and developing safety management program.
∎ Manage housekeeping by maintain visual management to the standards in all maintenance area.
∎ Any other jobs assigned by HOD/ Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 38 years
∎ Good communication skill both in Bengali & English.
∎ Problem solving skills with ability to analyze and recommend solutions on problems.
∎ Experience in Erection, Commissioning, maintenance & operation in any heavy industry.
