Education:
∎ Diploma in Electrical Engineering from any public Polytechnic Institute with at least 07 (seven) years of work experience in the steel power transmission line tower/telecom tower manufacturing company or a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from a public Engineering University with at least 03 (three) years of work experience in the steel power transmission line tower/telecom tower manufacturing company.

We are hiring a talented Assistant Manager to join our maintenance team and work together at our plant (Address: Shoilabil, Bathuli Scale, Dhamrai, Dhaka). If you're dedicated and ambitious, GSEL is a great place to grow your career. Don't hesitate to apply. The responsibilities of Assistant Manager - Maintenance include but are not limited to:
∎ Oversee the electrical & mechanical maintenance/servicing of Generators, ETP, Electric substation - parts & equipment, inverter/motors, overhead cranes, Hydra Crane, CNC Machines (ADM 2532/APM 2020 & APM 1412/PP/PD/BL-1412, Plasma Cutting/lathe/Hydraulic Press Machine), and other machinery & equipment in the transmission tower manufacturing & hot dip galvanizing facility.
∎ This role ensures that all equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably, minimizing downtime and contributing to optimal production output.
∎ Perform/conduct routine preventive maintenance of the machines/overhead crane & other equipment to avoid unnecessary downtime.
∎ Maintain daily housekeeping, 5S, and oversee the manpower handling safety precautions & wearing the right PPEs while working at height or on the floor/in a confined space.
∎ Oversee the selection and requisition of materials for use in the maintenance, to check whether the materials are as specified.
∎ Supervise and ensure proper maintenance of the machines & equipment .
∎ Coordinate and organize manpower according to work needs, prepare duty roster, and provide necessary statistics before declaring OT.
∎ Maintain proper records of the man, machine & materials.
