Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor & Master Degree from any Govt/reputed academic institution.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 6 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
∎ Develop alternative sources of supply & smart supplier's database.
∎ Develop material costs forecasts or standard cost lists.
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly procurement action Plan and function wise yearly procurement budget.
∎ Appraise vendor manufacturing ability through on-site visits and measurements.
∎ Assist and ensure purchase of engineering/manufacturing goods, spare parts & consumables.
∎ Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders.
∎ Import items procurement considering proper safety stock to avoid any hamper in production.
∎ Assist in shipping documents checking, verify PI, sales contract & other documents.
∎ Collaborate with other departments, such as group procurement, accounts, engineering and quality assurance to identify or qualify new suppliers.
∎ Develop or implement procedures or systems to evaluate or select suppliers.
∎ Ensure quality service, and best available price on goods and services in an ethical manner without compromising quality;
∎ The incumbent is expected to perform other duties necessary for the effective operation of the department.
∎ Good knowledge on local procurement with VAT, TAX regulations as per materials category.
∎ Ensure to check the actual/competitive price of different goods and materials by visiting the market frequently.
∎ Individual has to work in MM Module in SAP environment with ease.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Having minimum of 5-6 years’ professional experience is a must.
∎ Age should be below 32 Years.
∎ Having worked in FMCG industry would get preference.
∎ Must have excellent knowledge on Advanced MS-Word, Excel & PPT.
∎ Experienced in Local Procurement, Purchase, SCM, Store/Inventory, etc.
∎ Professional Certification in SCM field would be added advantage.
∎ Should have sound communication and interpersonal skill both in Bangla and English.
