Education:
∎ The candidate should hold a Ph.D. or an equivalent degree in English with at least two first-class/division/A-grade results throughout their academic career. Additionally, the candidate must have achieved at least one first-class/division/A-grade result in either their Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, along with a minimum of five publications, two of them as an Assistant Professor. Furthermore, the candidate should have at least two first-author publications.
∎ The candidate should hold a M.Phil. or an Equivalent Degree in English, with at least two First Classes/ Divisions/ A Grade results throughout their academic career, along with a minimum of five publications, two of them as an Assistant Professor.
∎ 4-year Bachelor's and Master's Degrees with Honors / 3-year Bachelor's and Master's Degrees with Honors. Must have a minimum of 3 first divisions/classes/A grades. Must have at least six publications, including four as an Assistant Professor.

∎ 8 (eight) years of teaching experience in a university or recognized equivalent educational institution, and 4 (four) years of experience as an assistant professor.
∎ For holders of Bachelor's and Master's degrees, a total of 10 years of experience in an educational institution at the university level, including four years of experience as an Assistant Professor.
∎ For those with experience at the college or research institute level, half of that experience will be considered. College-level experience will be applicable only for relevant honors and master courses. Additionally, experience gained from a research institute should be properly recognized.

∎ Design assessments to evaluate and provide feedback on student learning, upholding academic integrity.
∎ Collaborate on research and academic projects with colleagues and contribute to seminars and publications.
∎ Participate in institutional governance and administration through committee work.
∎ Stay updated with field developments by engaging with professional associations and societies.
∎ Mentor junior faculty, supporting their academic and professional growth.
∎ Build international partnerships to broaden the department's global outlook and exchange opportunities.
∎ Implement technology and innovative strategies in teaching to improve student engagement and learning outcomes.
