Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate should hold a Ph.D. or an equivalent degree in EEE with at least two first-class/division/A-grade results throughout their academic career. Additionally, the candidate must have achieved at least one first-class/division/A-grade result in either their Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, along with a minimum of five publications, two of them as an Assistant Professor. Furthermore, the candidate should have at least two first-author publications.
∎ The candidate should hold a M.Phil. or an Equivalent Degree in EEE, with at least two First Classes/ Divisions/ A Grade results throughout their academic career, along with a minimum of five publications, two of them as an Assistant Professor. Additionally, the candidate should have at least two first-author publications.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Teach undergraduate courses in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and develop new courses as needed.
∎ Supervise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students in the EEE department, and provide guidance on academic and career-related matters.
∎ Conduct independent research in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and related fields, and publish scholarly articles and papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
∎ Participate in departmental meetings, university committees, and other academic activities as required.
∎ Provide leadership and guidance to junior faculty members in the EEE department.
∎ Collaborate with other faculty members within the EEE department, as well as with faculty from other departments or institutions, to develop interdisciplinary research projects and programs.
∎ Seek external funding to support research activities and scholarly work in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
∎ Engage in community service and outreach activities to promote the university and the EEE discipline, and contribute to the advancement of the EEE profession.
∎ Participate in professional development activities such as attending conferences, workshops, and training sessions to stay current with developments in the field and to enhance teaching and research skills in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
∎ Assist in the administration of the department, such as student recruitment and retention, budget management, and accreditation-related activities.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ 7 (seven) years of teaching experience in a university or recognized equivalent educational institution, and 3 (three) years of experience as an assistant professor.
∎ 8 (eight) years of teaching experience in a university or recognized equivalent educational institution, and 4 (four) years of experience as an assistant professor.
∎ For those with experience at the college or research institute level, half of that experience will be considered. College-level experience will be applicable only for relevant honors and master courses. Additionally, experience gained from a research institute should be properly recognized.
