Job Description / Responsibility:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate lessons, daily activities, and maintaining classroom routines.
- Assist the lead teacher with setting up learning centers and cleaning up after activities.
- Support children during learning activities, circle time, art, music, and play.
- Prepare classroom materials and maintain an organized, safe, and engaging learning environment.
- Provide hands-on support with routines such as meals/snacks, toileting, hand-washing, and rest time.
- Supervise children at all times to ensure safety and well-being.
- Encourage social skills and help children resolve conflicts with their peers.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe classroom environment according to health and safety standards.
- Communicate respectfully with teacher, children, and staff.
- Respond calmly and appropriately to minor accidents, injuries, or conflicts.
