Educational Requirements:
∎ Candidate should have Ph.D. / Equivalent Degree in English with at least two First Classes/ Divisions/ A Grade throughout the academic career. Moreover, the candidate must have at least one First Class/ Division/ A Grade either in Bachelor or in Master's degree in English.
∎ M.Phil. / Equivalent Degree holder in English should have two First Classes/ Divisions/ A Grade throughout the academic career.
∎ Master's with four or three years Bachelor Degree holder in English must have at least three First Classes/ Divisions/ A Grade throughout the academic Career.
∎ Candidates with 3rd Division/ Class/ GPA/CGPA below 3:00 Grade in any public examination do not need to apply.
∎ Number of Publication(s) Needed : 3
∎ As per the UGC guideline.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The candidate should be able to:
∎ Conduct classes of undergraduate and graduate students as a full-time faculty.
∎ Prepare lesson plans, lecture materials and develop curriculum.
∎ Evaluate students' assignments, class performance and all written works of examinations.
∎ Take all academic responsibilities related to students' exams and other academic proceedings including co-and extra-curricular activities as he/she will be assigned.
∎ Conduct research to publish papers in academic journals.
∎ Supervise the academic research for undergraduate and graduate levels of students.
∎ Supervise demonstrations and research presentations of the students of undergraduate and graduate levels.
∎ Provide the regular feedback of students' academic progress to the Head of the Department.
∎ Represent the university at various national and international conferences presenting research papers when necessary.
∎ Attend faculty and department meetings and voice concerns or provide suggestions for the improvement of the students as well as the University.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 2 years teaching experience at University or equivalent educational institution and at least 3 publications in reputed journal for Ph.D. / equivalent degree holders.
∎ 3 years teaching experience at University or equivalent educational institution and at least 3 publications in reputed journal for M.Phil/ equivalent degree holders.
∎ 4 years teaching experience at University or equivalent educational institution and at least 3 publications in reputed journals for Master degree holders.
∎ Good command of computer literacy including MS Word and MS Excel should be acquired by the candidate.
