Requirements: Skills Required: Additional Requirements: - At least 1 (one) year experience in Library work at any reputed organization preferably in any higher level education institution.
- Computer literacy (particularly competency in the work of database and word processing) with a good typing speed and proficiency in English and Bangla.
- Preference will be given to those who have working experience related to ILMS i.e. KOHA, MARC21, DSpace and Database Management.
- Communication skill in English and Bangla are must for this position.
- Soft skills, emotional intelligence and pleasant personality are essential.
- Candidates with experience will get priority.
- Hardworking, honest, energetic and innovative.
- Used to working long hours (if required).
- Willing to accept challenges with positive attitude.
- Have the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities & Context: Maintaining Reference services.
Maintaining Reader services.
Maintaining reading room activities.
Sorting, Shelving and shelf reading (if assigned).
Cataloguing & Classification.
Maintaining Accession Registrar.
Checking new books and preparing for acquisition.
Providing Administrative support.
Duties in evening and weekend shifts.
Duties assigned by Library In-Charge.
Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by University Management from time to time.
