Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's or equivalent degree in Information Science and Library Management.
∎ Candidates with 3rd class/division or CGPA below 2.75 in any public examination need not apply.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage circulation, reference and reader services.
∎ Managing reading rooms.
∎ Sorting, shelving and shelf reading (if required).
∎ Data entry through Koha and DSPACE.
∎ Cataloging, classification & accessioning.
∎ Checking new books and preparing for processing.
∎ Preparation for CAS & SDI.
∎ Presentation for Library Induction Session.
∎ Provide administrative support.
∎ Issuing Library membership cards & Library clearances.
∎ Duties in the SEU Library campuses in evening and weekend shifts.
∎ Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the University Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 01 yr experience in relevant field is preferable.
∎ Literacy in ILS (KOHA), MARC21 and Database Management will be given preference.
∎ Computer literacy and proficiency in English, both oral and written are essential for the positions.
∎ Only short listed candidates will be called for written test and interview.
Salary:
∎ As per SEU Pay Scale
