Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's or equivalent degree in Information Science and Library Management.
∎ Candidates with 3rd class/division or CGPA below 2.75 in any public examination need not apply.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage circulation services.
∎ Manage Reference services.
∎ Manage Reader services.
∎ Managing reading rooms.
∎ Sorting, Shelving and shelf reading (if assigned).
∎ Cataloguing & classification.
∎ Accessioning.
∎ Checking new books and preparing for processing.
∎ Provide administrative support.
∎ Issuing Library membership cards & Library clearances.
∎ Duties in the SEU Library campuses.
∎ Duties in evening and weekend shifts.
∎ Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the University Management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 20 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 01 yr experience in relevant field is preferable.
∎ Literacy in ILS (KOHA), MARC21 and Database Management will be given preference.
∎ Computer literacy and proficiency in English, both oral and written are essential for the position.
∎ Soft skills, emotional intelligence and pleasant personality are essential.
∎ Candidates with experience will receive priority.
∎ Hardworking, honest, energetic and innovative.
∎ Used to working long hours.
∎ Willing to accept challenges and work under pressure.
∎ Have the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Salary:
∎ As per SEU Pay Scale
