Job Responsibilities:
∎ General Purchase Responsibilities:
∎ Implement and maintain the standard purchasing process, establish purchase policy and strategy with a view to enhancing savings and reducing waste.
∎ Must have knowledge of commercial, international, and local markets.
∎ Ensure all requisite and approved commodities are available as per the specification.
∎ Develop a purchasing and material sourcing policy, set a standard lead time for delivering to the end consumer.
∎ Initiate and develop creative and innovative procurement processes.
∎ Negotiate contract terms with key suppliers to ensure value for money, quality standards, and delivery terms with technical and operational input from stakeholders if appropriate.
∎ Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
∎ Develop, implement, and maintain a supplier relationship and evaluation process to measure effective supplier performance and compliance.
∎ Conduct market research to keep abreast of emerging trends and business opportunities.
∎ Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of requirement specifications and expectations of the company.
∎ Ensure compliance in all procure-to-pay processes and procurement rights.
∎ Achieve the set procurement target in coordination with team members.
∎ Onboard and develop value-added suppliers and nurture partnerships.
∎ Review existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
∎ Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
∎ Approve purchase orders and organize and confirm delivery of goods and services.
∎ Perform risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
∎ Control the procurement budget and promote a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
∎ Prepare detailed reports on procurement and deliveries.
∎ Procurement Responsibilities:
∎ Identify potential suppliers and develop a sourcing strategy for goods and services.
∎ Conduct supplier evaluations and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable pricing and terms.
∎ Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, quality of goods and services, and favorable pricing.
∎ Collaborate with departments to determine procurement needs and requirements.
∎ Review and approve purchase orders and invoices to ensure accuracy and timely payment.
∎ Monitor and report on procurement activities and make recommendations for improvement.
∎ Real Estate Purchase Responsibilities:
∎ Identify potential properties for acquisition that align with our real estate portfolio strategy.
∎ Evaluate properties based on criteria such as location, condition, and price.
∎ Conduct due diligence to ensure compliance with regulations and funding requirements.
∎ Negotiate contracts with property owners and/or real estate agents.
∎ Coordinate with legal and finance departments to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
∎ Manage the closing process and ensure all documents are accurate and complete.
∎ Develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents, brokers, and property owners to identify new opportunities.
∎ Manage the leasing and rental agreements for properties within the portfolio.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Excellent communication & negotiation skills in Bengali and English
∎ Organized with the ability to priorities and focus on what is important.
∎ Excellent computer literacy on MS Word, Excel and good typing skill on both Bijoy Bangla & English.
∎ Ability to work under pressure with team sprite.
