∎ Age at most 40 years
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage the dyes & chemical store operations including receiving, storing, and issuing of materials.
∎ Conduct daily/weekly/monthly physical stock checks and reconcile with system records.
∎ Coordinate with supply chain, production, and quality departments for material requirements.
∎ Ensure timely availability of dyes and chemicals as per production needs.
∎ Monitor stock levels and ensure reordering is done proactively to avoid production delays.
∎ Follow up with suppliers/vendors regarding delivery schedules and quality issues.
∎ Track batch numbers, expiry dates, and ensure FIFO (First-In-First-Out) system is followed.
∎ Receive and inspect incoming materials for quality, quantity, and documentation.
∎ Label and segregate chemicals as per their compatibility, hazard classification, and usage.
∎ Job order wise dyes, auxiliaries, and chemicals usage variance analysis.
∎ Maintain MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) for all chemicals.
∎ Ensure proper documentation such as Indent, GRN, issue slips, stock register, bin cards, etc.
∎ Maintain safe temperature and humidity levels in the chemical store area.
∎ Adhere to internal and statutory compliance requirements including environmental norms.
∎ Ensure proper labeling, storage, and segregation of chemicals as per safety guidelines.
∎ Train and supervise store staff on safe handling, spill control, and fire prevention measures.
∎ Maintain clean and hazard-free storage areas.
∎ Supervise and manage store assistants/workers.
