Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (IPE or Mechanical preferred) or a related technical field.

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance roles, specifically within a manufacturing environment for consumer electronics products.

Additional Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), preferably ISO 9001 certification and auditing experience.
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and other quality analysis tools.
• Experience with root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Familiarity with various inspection techniques, measuring instruments, and testing equipment common in electronics and mechanical manufacturing.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager, Quality Control to assist in leading and executing our quality assurance initiatives for air conditioner products. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of quality control principles and practical experience in a manufacturing setting. This role involves working closely with the Quality Control Manager to implement quality standards, oversee inspections, and drive continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Quality Control (QC) procedures and inspection plans for all stages of air conditioner manufacturing, from raw materials to finished goods.
• Supervise and guide a team of quality control inspectors and technicians in their daily activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards and procedures.
• Conduct and oversee incoming material inspections, in-process quality checks, and final product inspections for air conditioner components and assembled units.
• Identify and document non-conformances, initiate corrective actions (CA) and preventive actions (PA) processes (CAPA) under the guidance of the QC Manager, and follow up on their effective implementation.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and R&D teams to address quality issues, implement preventive measures, and improve manufacturing processes.
• Assist in managing the calibration schedule and maintenance of QC testing equipment, ensuring all equipment is accurate and reliable.
• Collect and analyze quality data, prepare reports on quality performance, defect rates, and trends, and present findings to the QC Manager.
• Participate in internal quality audits to ensure compliance with quality management system (QMS) standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and internal procedures.
• Support investigations into customer quality complaints, identifying root causes and assisting in the implementation of effective solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by applying quality tools and methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, SPC (Statistical Process Control), and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
• Ensure that all air conditioner products comply with relevant national and international safety, performance, and environmental standards (e.g., BSTI, IEC, UL, Energy Star).
• Provide training and coaching to QC staff and other relevant personnel on quality standards and procedures.
