Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Operate plastics processing machinery efficiently and safely.
∎ Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal output.
∎ Conduct regular maintenance checks on machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operation.
∎ Troubleshoot any issues that arise during production processes.
∎ Lead and motivate the production team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
∎ Provide guidance and training to team members on operating machinery and following standard procedures.
∎ Delegate tasks effectively to ensure the workload is evenly distributed among team members.
∎ Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, productivity, and continuous improvement.
∎ Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to support their professional development.
∎ The Assistant Manager, Production, will play a pivotal role in overseeing plastics processing machine operations and leading the production team. They will be responsible for ensuring efficient operation of machinery, adherence to safety protocols, and achieving production targets. Additionally, they will provide leadership and guidance to the production team to maintain high standards of productivity and quality.
