∎ Should have hands-on experience in procurement of rice, dal, muri, mustered oil, semai etc. in a reputed food industry

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure sourcing, negotiate and purchase materials from local vendors (Non-flour items, rice, mustard oil, seeds, dal & muri)
∎ Ensure all goods and services purchased comply with company procurement, policy & procedure
∎ Searching profitable suppliers and initiate procurement partnerships, re qualifying to manage the risk
∎ Formation of contracts/Agreements/MOU etc.
∎ Monitoring and measuring supplier performance
∎ Increase the quality and efficiency of communication with supplier
∎ Deal with relevant authorities and obtain required permits/license
∎ Responsible for implementing internal procurement action plan to cater superior delivery services and shorten lead time requirements
∎ Link up with cross functional departments, suppliers, warehouse for smooth and uninterrupted operational support
∎ Aligns with the company strategy and supplier strategy to create competitive advantage
∎ Generate monthly reports
∎ Frequently market visit

∎ The candidate has to perform following responsibilities:
