Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate in Industrial Production Engineering (IPE) from any reputed university is highly preferable.
∎ Candidates with an Engineering background and have experience in Furniture Manufacturing Company can also apply.
∎ Any additional Professional Qualification/Certification or Certified Training Course in a related discipline will be considered as an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To prepare monthly requirement status of outsourcing product, local and made components as per forecast of marketing department and data of store.
∎ To plan production and machine schedule as per forecast of the marketing department.
∎ To monitor, coordinate and execute overall production plan as per monthly production schedule and ensure the defect-free product in time.
∎ To prepare daily Production Plan such as cutting, boring, edging, packing etc.
∎ To ensure raw materials planning as per production plan.
∎ To communicate with Production Manager, Operation for implementing the works as per Production and Machine Schedule and following-up the schedules properly and delivery in timely.
∎ To communicate and deal with all showrooms regarding their special order & requirements.
∎ To ensure effective coordination and communication between G.M. (Operation) & sub-ordinates.
∎ To take immediate action for delaying delivery products due to improper implementation of Production Schedule and Machine Scheduling.
∎ To communicate and deal with Production Manager, Quality Control with a view to ensuring quality products.
∎ To give daily briefing to the subordinates about pending planning works and arrange to implement the works in a proper way.
∎ To attend on Production meeting weekly and monthly.
∎ To prepare monthly requirement status of Laminated Boards, Edging, Accessories, Ply Wood, Lamination Papers, Lamination Chemicals etc. based on the Forecast requirement from the month to the month ahead and the actual requirement for the next month received from Marketing Department and the Present Stock of the components and Pipe Line status of imported items collected from the Store and to submit these to PM, Production.
∎ To review monthly forecast of Marketing Department and prepare monthly production plan in consultation with PM, Production.
∎ To prepare monthly Machine Scheduling discussing with GM, Operation, with a view to increase productivity and ensure in time delivery of finished products and maximum use of man, machine and materials.
∎ To arrange weekly coordination meetings with all sub-ordinates regarding planning, drawing, designing, scheduling and implementation of planning and scheduling in every respect.
∎ To plan for furnishing all the related works to make a new product.
∎ To ensure all kinds of modification works of cutting plan, boring plan, assembly drawing and associated all types of computer works.
∎ Coordinate with other departments for smooth functioning of the section.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Male candidates are preferred for this position but female candidates who have the same qualification are highly encouraged to apply.
∎ Applicants should have knowledge of Auto Cad and Product Designing.
∎ Applicants who have experience in Furniture Manufacturing Company will get preference.
Salary: Tk. 25000 - 30000 (Monthly)
