Responsibilities & Context:

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional for the role of Assistant Manager – Fire & Safety. The position is responsible for ensuring full compliance with fire safety regulations, supervising installation and maintenance of fire protection systems, and strengthening workplace safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and ensure all fire safety designs, materials, and installations comply with BNBC 2020, NFPA, and RSC/buyer requirements

• Coordinate with civil, electrical, mechanical teams, and management for proper integration of fire safety systems

• Supervise installation of fire protection and detection systems as per approved drawings and specifications

• Inspect fire-related materials and workmanship to ensure quality and code compliance

• Plan, witness, and verify testing & commissioning of fire protection and detection systems

• Conduct fire safety training and organize fire drills for factory employees

• Support Fire Service, RSC, and buyer inspections and ensure closure of safety observations

Requirements

• B.Sc. in EEE / Mechanical Engineering

• 7–10 years of relevant experience in fire safety systems

• Minimum 6 months training in Fire Safety & Civil Defense (FSCD)

Additional Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD

• Strong knowledge of NFPA, BNBC, and RSC standards

• Technical expertise in Fire Detection Systems (FDS) and Fire Protection Systems (FPS)

• Leadership and team coordination skills

• Strong problem-solving and compliance mindset
