Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry or Applied Chemistry
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To collect information from local and international market about chemical based product price trend in the respective industries they have been assigned to and cultivate friendly relation with all suppliers.
∎ Ensure that material H,S code and customs duty as per Bangladesh customs declarations
∎ Ensure the chemical stock within predefined estimate in warehouse as per company standard
∎ Maintain quotation card, catalogue and also the price history as per company policy.
∎ Take the responsibility of non-moving and slow moving chemical items, ensure those are used within chemical expired life
∎ Ensure manufacturing flow have not affected by shortage any kinds of chemicals
∎ Prepare monthly forecast based on market demand as well as previous year buying history
∎ Advice head of purchase as well as supply chain manager about abnormal market trend and production demand
∎ Assist supply chain manager to finalize of estimate of price and stock
∎ Perform routine check of all invoice, receiving notes, freight bill and covering materials
∎ Ensure all original shipment documents of imported chemicals received on time as well as ,as per Bangladesh customs requirement
∎ Follow up PI,PO, LC opening and shipment as per time schedule
∎ Develop effective chemical suppliers in respect of price, delivery and quality
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 35 years
∎ Must have vast knowledge and expertise on polymer chemical, inventory management, procurement system, manufacturing flow
∎ Negotiation skills, effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
∎ Avail to work under pressure with limited resource individually and with team
Salary: Negotiable
