• Drive category performance by achieving revenue, profit margin, inventory turnover, customer satisfaction, and product quality and ethical standards.

• Develop and implement category strategies aligned with business objectives.

• Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, preferences, and emerging market opportunities.

• Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions regarding product assortment and category performance.

• Negotiate with local suppliers and importers to secure favorable commercial terms, competitive pricing, and optimal profit margins.

• Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing overstocking and stockouts.

• Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute promotional activities to drive sales growth.

• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and product offerings, and adjust category strategies accordingly.

• Prepare and present category performance reports, including sales, profitability, and inventory analysis, to senior management.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Supply Chain, and Merchandising, to ensure smooth category operations.

• Identify product gaps and market opportunities and source suitable suppliers and products to strengthen the category portfolio.
