∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Consulting Firms, Engineering Firms

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Forecast the initial cost of items for participating in tender by coordination with project and procurement team.
∎ Cost and rate analysis for the civil, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, HSE etc. items to support tender/bidding activities.
∎ Preparation of cost budget for execution of the project work after awarding of tender.
∎ Detail estimation of material for the construction items for project implementation.
∎ Comparing the PWD, BWDB, LGED etc. rates with present market price to finalize the best possible unit price to execute the project.
∎ Preparation of BOQ&BOM for projects like Transmission Line, River Crossing Lines, Buildings, Shore Protection Work, Bridges, Culverts and Large Infrastructure Projects.
∎ Preparing own work sheet for rate and cost analysis as per the requirement.
∎ Checking invoices quantity of site with BOQ to recheck the submitted bills.
∎ Preparation of price hike impact on rates during project implementation stage if any and revise the budget accordingly.
∎ Monitoring of market prices through procurement to get updated on costing of major civil works item.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 5 to 7 year(s) experience in similar kinds of work like estimation, BOQ preparation & costing/offer preparation related works.
∎ Should have sound knowledge on Auto CAD, MS Office application (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project).
∎ Should have knowledge on understanding of construction drawing and should be able to relate layout in construction field.
∎ Capability of quick learning, self-planning and decision-making.
