Educational Requirements:
∎ Candidates possessing Master and Honor's in Library and Information Science should have an active service of 6 years in the University or similar institution/ organization of which 3 years should be as an Officer/ section Officer/ Administrative Officer/equivalent posts in the respective fields. Proficiency in English and computer literacy will be considered as necessary qualifications.
∎ Demonstrated advanced knowledge of computerized and manual systems for collecting, preserving and reporting University information.
∎ Strong information technology literacy skills.
∎ Demonstrated ability to develop and manage operating budgets and plans.
∎ Demonstrated ability to interact positively with Faculty Members, Administrators, Staffs, Students and Public.
∎ Candidates with 3rd class/division or CGPA below 2.75 in any public examination need not apply.

Job Context:
∎ Assistant Librarian at Z.H.Sikder University of Science and Technology, Shariatpur
∎ Update circulation process regularly, able to maintain database in the Library, cataloging, acquisition, organizing, processing and distribution of learning materials such as books, journals, documents etc.
∎ Job Location: Bhedergonj, Shariatpur.
