∎ Master's Degree with Honors in Information Science and Library Management.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise circulation and reading room facilities.
∎ Maintenance and customization of Integrated Library System (ILS), Koha.
∎ SEU library website maintenance and updating.
∎ Processing of Journals and reference collection.
∎ Processing of Monographs.
∎ Works related to procurement and subscription of books and journals respectively.
∎ Assistance to the management of electronic resources.
∎ Assistance to reference and digital services.
∎ Provide assistance for online reference and scholarly literature searching to library users.
∎ Data entry and editing in Koha (automated Library System).
∎ Supervision of the activities of Reading Room & User services.
∎ Supervision of Library officers and other staff members.
∎ Duties assigned by Library In-Charge.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The applicant must have at least 8 years experience with professional.
∎ Trainings and experiences in working with Library automation systems, i.e. Koha, DSpace, and MARC21, online referencing tools are required.
∎ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both in English and Bangla.
